The Oct. 15 application deadline for the 2009 World Sacred Music
Festival is just about two weeks away. So if you've been putting it
off, it's time to get to it. There are still open slots, but they'll
be filled soon.

On a special note, we'll be looking to add one or more special "sacred
music jam sessions" to the festival, in which musicians from two or
more groups blend their musical resources into something new,
previously unheard, and inspiring. I'll be asking all participants
about this, but if you're particularly enthusiastic about the idea,
feel free to get in touch!

We also will be having a marketplace for the first time, with various
appropriate vendors along with tabling for nonprofit organizations.
The tabling application will be uploaded to the festival website
shortly -- if you know of vendors of global/sacred/musical products
that would be appropriate, please let them know about the
opportunity.
