The following openings are available at Text Analytics Lab, Data Analytics Department, Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), Singapore:

 

1. One research scientst in machine learning with applications to text mining (e.g., opinion mining, web mining, information extraction, etc.).

2. One research engineer in text mining on Engish and Chinese text (e.g., multilingual opinion mining, multilingual information extraction, etc.).

Postion 1 requirements:

1. PhD in computer science or related disciplines.
2. Research expertise in relevant areas (machine learning and/or text mining).
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Able to work with research engineers for development.
 
Postion 2 requirements:

1. Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related disciplines.
2. Experience in text mining on Engish and Chinese text.
3. Programming experience in Python or Java.
4. Good communication skills.
