MIT Professional Education Programs ( http://mitpep.mit.edu)
MIT's Professional Education Programs office (PEP), organized under
the School of Engineering in 2002, provides continuing education
courses, short courses, and lifelong learning opportunities for
science and engineering professionals at all levels. PEP offerings are
taught by faculty from across the Institute.

One of the programs we run is called:

MIT Professional Institute ( http://professionalinstitute.mit.edu )
The Professional Institute (PI) offers more than 40 courses in two-to-
sixday sessions, primarily in the summer. These intensive courses are
designed to inform busy professionals through in-depth learning with
long-term value. Courses combine MIT's breakthrough research with
insights from industry, government, and academic participants.
Professional Institute attendees come from across the US and around
the world. About 30% are international. Another 20% come from New
England states. Most are mid-career technical, scientific, business
and government professionals in their 20s through 50s or more who seek
new skills for the purposes of a promotion, career advancement or
professional standing.

This year we have courses being offered in Computing / Networks /
Communication:

* Cryptography and Computer Security
* Digital Communication Networks
* High-Speed I/O Design Techniques
* Introduction to Network Coding
* Multicore Programming
