The UK's Medical Research Foundation is inviting applications for its research development fellowships.

Up to is £43,000 will be given to African researchers who received their PhDs in the last four years to develop research ideas and funding proposals. Successful applicants will also spend nine months in a research organisation based in Europe or South Africa.

Applications close on 8 July.
