Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day is Friday, February 12th. This is the day that Advocates from across Washington come together to tell our legislators that we can preserve access to affordable housing, protect resources for working families, and rebuild funding for the Housing Trust Fund. We need you there - join the Housing Alliance and our partners as we rally for housing, meet with our legislators, and attend workshops to become a more effective advocate.
Register today and join us on Friday
2.12.10!
We'll start the day with speakers and advocacy training, move onto meetings or "pulls" with our legislators, attend workshops, and then report back what we've heard. Click here to see the full agenda for the day.
Tera, we
need you to be part of the growing movement for affordable housing. During
this short session we must convince our legislators of the vital importance of
funding for housing and homelessness such as the Housing Trust Fund. We
need to advocate for the Housing Trust Fund and other programs that ensure that
everyone has the opportunity to live in a safe, decent, affordable home.
Now is not the time to reduce resources for working families and together we can
work with our elected officials to rebuild our economic
future.
Please take a moment to register for Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day.
Thanks; we'll see you in Olympia on February 12, 2010!
