The Portland Criterium presented by Steeplejack Brewing is back and bigger than ever. After a successful revival in 2022, we are expanding the 2025 edition to TWO full days of urban crit racing and visiting two iconic Portland locations: the North Park Blocks and the Lloyd District. With over 300 athletes expected from across North America, including a strong showing from Oregon’s own OBRA community, the Portland Criterium features Pro/1/2 elite fields, spirited 3/4/5 racing, and NEW Junior categories.
More than just a race, the Portland Criterium is a celebration of the bicycle community, local PDX culture, and furious pace. Bring your family and friends for an exciting day out, and if you’re racing… better bring your watts.

Visit https://www.bikereg.com/portland-criterium to register for the Portland Criterium 2025. Online registration will close at 8 PM on Thursday. Onsite Registration will have a $10 surcharge. Onsite junior race registration will be $25.
Volunteering
The are still open volunteer slots to help keep our participants and spectators safe during our event. https://portlandcriterium.com/volunteer/ and sign up to set up and/or take down each day, or hold the coveted title of Crossing Guard. If you sign up for two volunteer shifts, we will send you a code for a free race entry.
Staying in Portland

Fun for the Whole Family
Both days will have activities for the entire family. Bring those strider bikes to have fun in the parks on our kids course, enjoy some arts and crafts at our art station, and join in the Saturday "Ride to the Race" Pedalpalooza Ride hosted by Cycle Oregon.

Saturday, August 16 — North Park Blocks – Pearl District: Historic streets, rowdy corners, and the cultural heart of downtown PDX
Sunday, August 17 — The Lloyd Criterium: A fast course with wide turns and fresh pavement, with a quick subterranean diversion to keep racing spicy.
