SF Police Called By BAVC ED Ikeda On Community Access Producers For Video Taping
On December 16, 2010 at a meeting of the board of the San Francisco Bay Area Video Coalition BAVC, the Executive Director Ken Ikeda tried to prevent the San Francisco community access producers from video taping the public section of the meeting. He tried to stop the video taping physically and then called the police to arrest community access producers for "trespassing". The BAVC management had also removed elected SF Commons Advisory Board members who had been elected only two months ago for not signing a statement that was produced secretly with no input from the board. BAVC management has a record of violating the SF Ethics Commission rules and refusing to provide a full audit of the more than $800,000 they received from the city of San Francisco. The board of directors of BAVC is at Board of Directors - Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC) 2010/2011 http://www.bavc.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=578&Itemid=891
