"Meditation IS Enlightenment”
~ Zen Mystic
Tonight, January 9th is Kwantlen's film event "White Water Black Gold"
Instead of a discussion here, it will be a field trip there:
http://www.horticulturebc.info/pdf/Green%20Wednesdays%205.pdf
The theme for the second Wednesday in February at 7pm is “Transformational Leadership - Inspirational Empowerment”
We’ll be discussing what those mean to us and our experiences now that we fully launched into this new year. (Any closet triskaidekaphobian support groups?)
Or, some of you might be familiar with “Career Choices & Life Success” complimentary 16 week course at Kwantlen:
http://www.kwantlen.ca/calendar/2012-13/aca/ccls-cit.html as a way of transitioning from one career path to another.
We’ll begin a discussion after a short meditation.
Tea will be served and all are welcome.
I’ve met a Dene (pronounced den-nay) first nations ceremony leader to present a ritual for us to participate in at one evening this Spring.
I’m also looking forward to a possible Quaker presentation here and field trips to spiritually significant sites this Spring.
Have you heard of a spiritually significant site that you would like us to attend as a field trip?
Do you know of a spiritual leader that we might invite to speak at our spiritual discussion group?
Share it and let’s plan one for the spring or summer!
Namaste,
Susan
