WSRC 2024?

Hello,

I recently discovered a Robotic Boat Race in Greece that claims to be a collaboration with WRSC. I'm curious to know if this collaboration is official. Their rules seem to indicate that the boats should be robotic sailboats sailing around and between different buoys, but the previous edition featured motor-driven boats. I would appreciate any news or comments you may have regarding this event.

Hi Pranav,

The organisers of the RoBoat Race talked to me in 2022 about running
an event last year and I had suggested this could be the WRSC2023
since nobody else had volunteered to run it. But I never heard
anything more about this after sometime in late 2022. Looking at their
website it looks like an event did take place though.

The rules sound similar to what we've had in the past for some of the
WRSC events.

If anybody wants to organise WRSC2024 (or 2025) then please let me
know and I can setup links to it on the roboticsailing.org website to
your event site.
