Maciej: any chance of increasing the possible age of predictions? I was hoping to add predictions from Ray Kurzweil's _The Age of Spiritual Machines_ https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/The_Age_of_Spiritual_Machines that I found here http://www.imminst.org/forum/My-Disappointment-at-the-Future-t17025.html

The predictions are all perfectly within WT's scope; even better, they are largely objective and easily decided, and fall due within less than a year; but I can't input them because 1 January 1999 is too long ago for the form.

Hi gwern,

I'm setting up a "legacy" area for predictions that predate the site;
it should be ready in a day or two. I'll make sure the form can
handle earlier dates.

Thanks!

Maciej
