Update on my eye surgery

Fellow Writers,

Just wanted to let you all know what happened this morning. I tot an email from anesthesiologist yesterday and I explained to him all of the troubles I have - including throwing up for five hours after my knee surgery even though I was given special meds before and after and after surgery.

Today, a different anesthesiologist introduced himself and said that he read that I have problems but not to worry because they would just be giving me a light dose to put me into a twilight zone and I wouldn't have any problems. It's like I have heard that line before.

He gave me a light dose just before they started wheeling me into the surgery room and I told them to stop, I felt like I was going to throw up.  They gave

I had added more and then some how deleted it.

"They gave me a container - I was all sweaty but I didn't throw up. They took me to recovery and checked all my vitals and kept me on oxygen. The doc came to check on me. I told him it was a good think I got sick before they started and his eyes got big and he said that if he had started the surgery, he would have had to finish it even if I was throwing up.  So I guess I was lucky after all.

It only took us about 10 minutes for me to get home and I got settled in and then threw up. Rich brought be a bottle of rubbing alcohol and I sniffed it and my stem was fine then.

So they will give me a new appointment and hopefully this time they will give me all of the right meds.
