Dear Jill,

I'm sorry this is so late; post-Christmas blues hit me, maybe because there is so much illness in my family: granddaughter, stepdaughter, nephew, all with flu. And I continue to be challenged by RSV residue.

But never mind all that. We'll all get better.

Your poem has good questions to ponder and many fine lines, most of which you should keep. Others, I cut because they were almost repetitious. 

A worthy topic and effort.
