Well, I guess you are wondering where the daily haiku are?  Let's just say, the writer was away for a bit. Actually, I was whisked to an ER early last Friday morning for a leisurely hallway stay of thirteen hours, then transported to a hospital bed until two days ago. This is not a robot, so I managed to survive the ordeal and now I am recovering at home. Hopefully I will feel up to sending haiku out by tomorrow. Now TCM is my comfort and entertainer. I apologize in advance if the next group of haiku may have a dark side.

Curt,
We were wondering - you hadn't submitted anything for days so we were afraid you were in the hospital and would contact us so we sure appreciate you letting us know that you are home. That should help you get better soon. I'm sure Carolyn and everyone else is doing their best to get you going again.  I was actually hoping for some humorous haiku to make all feel better too!

Yes, Curt, I was wondering what happened to the haiku trail. I'm glad that the wandering haikuist is found, more alive than not, and recovering. I promise to cherish every new word.

Without your haiku
a day passes so slowly
uneventfully.

Dear Curt,
We certainly missed you today and were concerned that you hadn't been sending any Haiku or poetry.
I'm very glad you are out of the hospital and recovering at home and look forward to more of your poetry, be it dark or humorous.

Here's to a speedy recovery!

Hi Curt,
Just catching with emails and read your message. I hope you enjoyed your "leisurely hallway vacation," but it is time to return to daily Haiku and endearing rural life stories. Get well soon. I hope to see you next Thursday.
Celia
