Hello Group,

This is submitted late, and it's rather long, so we can get to it in the following weeks instead of this Thursday because you won't have had enough time to read it. Let's do the work everyone submitted ON TIME first. One of Curt's poems actually inspired this essay.

Speaking of future meetings, I take it we are NOT meeting on Thanksgiving morning. I know I won't be able to; I'll be cooking and having family over. So, will we resume on the 30th?

See you Thursday, the 16th (my birthday!)

Nedra,
At first I didn't think I was going to be able to read what you wrote because I thought your cousin was going to have to do unspeakable things but I stayed with it because I realize that you would not write about that.

I did enjoy the story even though it is about a horrible time in our lives. I could see the connection that you had with him and I'm glad you were able to get that connection again. It sounds like he would do anything for you.

I have a few suggestions for you to consider.
