Dear Compadres,
A bit of mystery, a bit of romanticism!
This poem is my second for discussion on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025.  STRUCK BY MOONLIGHT. Jill

Jill Stockinger

STRUCK BY MOONLIGHT

Seven psalms for seven lovers,

seven days in a week.

I am weak as I walk

this illuminated street.

The rain gives green life,

the rain brings the blues.

The ocean is hoping

to marry the moon.

There are seven lovers dancing

in the diamond-studded sky;

the diamonds are reflected

in their shining eyes.

Out of bubbles and froth,

seven spirits form;

seven go dancing

with lovers in their arms.

The bright moon

spreads its beams of light--

the dancers float on,

through diamond-studded nights.
