Dear Jill,

Your story of your friend Nick was so affecting and deeply moving. When my Dad came back from Vietnam--I think the thing that really hurt him was the anti-war venom he felt on his return. He doesn't talk about his time there either.

And I agree with Marian, that 'reverso' poem is pretty amazing. It must have taken time to figure the word play. Well done on that. Wow.

I don't have anything to add that would make them any better. I will ask you about a certain comma in one of them in class.
