A Sedoka

How I Love You    by Jill Stockinger

I am so hungry!

I crave kisses and salad,

hot soup, some cake with whipped cream.

Oh Love, I hear you!

Here is roast duck, soup, salad,

cake, kisses and candlelight!

The Sedoka is an unrhymed poem made up of 2 three-line katauta.

The sedoka usually has the following syllable count:

5/7/7, 5/7/7.

A sedoka may address the same subject from differing perspectives.

It is often written as a dialogue between 2 people.

--This is what I have gathered, after looking at several online sources!  Jill
