Dear Jill,

Whew! It IS hard to write a sonnet. I tried to make it fit more within the iambic pentameter, like you asked, but I'm not sure I could all the time.

Well, just take what you need and ignore the rest. I hope it helps a little. An excellent attempt on your part. The content is wonderful.
