Samsung device health manager service is a feature we have in the phone that calculates how you use the phone to optimize itself to improve performance. The phone makes these calculations at different times. You can also do this manually by going to settings > Device care > Optimize device.

For over 20 Years, we have been committed to saving lives and improving health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries by enabling the government and private sector to strengthen and sustain quality health systems.

For over 20 Years, we have been committed to saving lives and improving health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries by enabling the government and private sector to strengthen and sustain quality health systems. Explore our strategy.

CHAI operates in over 35 countries around the world. More than 125 countries have access to CHAI-negotiated price reductions for medicines, diagnostics, vaccines, devices, or other life-saving health products and services.

We want people to work with us who believe in the mission and whose fulfillment comes from the fact that collectively we succeed in advancing the mission. This ensures our unity of purpose, with all leaders and managers and their staff at all levels working to a common cause.

We believe that to make programs sustainable and scalable we need to help strengthen the mainstream government health systems. This means that we align our program strategies with our partner governments to work in service of their priorities and goals. Partnering with governments enables transformational impact, as they are the strongest institutions in developing countries with long-term and expansive health policies and programs.

People are dying unnecessarily from AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, and other preventable and treatable conditions. We recognize that every day we delay, people die. Therefore, we work with the utmost speed to build a strong foundation for sustainable impact. The faster we act the more lives we can save.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at CHAI: Since our founding, CHAI has held equity as a cornerstone of our organization for both our staff and those whom our programs serve. In order to continue this principle and achieve our mission, we must seek transformational change in both our work and our organization. CHAI strives to address inequity in access to healthcare from our early programs, which sought to achieve equitable access to treatment for HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and other diseases, to more recent investments in assistive technologies like wheelchairs, hearing aids, and glasses, for people living with disabilities. Moving forward, our programs will build on this work for an intentional approach to address the leading causes of inequity within healthcare systems. Within our organization, we acknowledge it is also critical to address drivers of inequality and non-inclusion. We will invest in our workforce and increase diverse representation at every level. We will implement greater equity and sustainable improvements in policies, systems, and procedures. By adopting a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy, we will hold ourselves accountable for these and other actionable steps to reinforce and sustain our value of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We expect employees and partners to make ethical decisions and to work hard and manage their own work. As an organization, at all levels, we uphold good governance with transparency and accountability.

We hire good people and give them wide latitude to conceive of and execute programs. We have a culture of seeking out opportunities and then seizing them. Some of our greatest accomplishments, large and small, were not planned centrally. We are willing to take calculated risks to attempt to achieve goals that are substantial, challenging, and uncertain.

We do not seek credit for our work and will only take it if it is necessary to fulfill our mission. We do not seek to publicize our work independent of publicity that our government partners or donors want.

Our successes are driven by the talent, creativity, and hard work of the people who work for us. We strive to support and protect our staff to grow and thrive within the organization and to enable them to have a major impact in fulfilling our mission.

Our offices are modest. We do not use donor money to travel lavishly. We maintain low overheads. We feel that the donor funds we raise should go as much as possible to saving lives directly rather than to compensating ourselves excessively or incurring elaborate expenses.

CHAI is looking for dynamic and self-motivated individuals who are committed to strengthening health systems around the world and expanding access to care and treatment of HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other illnesses.

The term Software as a Medical Device is defined by the International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF) as "software intended to be used for one or more medical purposes that perform these purposes without being part of a hardware medical device."

Use of Software as a Medical Device is continuing to increase. It can be used across a broad range of technology platforms, including medical device platforms, commercial "off-the-shelf" platforms, and virtual networks, to name a few. Such software was previously referred to by industry, international regulators, and health care providers as "standalone software," "medical device software," and/or "health software," and can sometimes be confused with other types of software.

Given the unique features of Software as a Medical Device that extend beyond a traditional medical device or hardware, regulators across the globe recognized the need to converge on a common framework and principles for Software as a Medical Device that enables all stakeholders, including regulators, to promote safe innovation and protect patient safety.

The International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF) is a voluntary group of medical device regulators from around the world who have come together to reach harmonization on medical device regulation. IMDRF develops internationally agreed upon documents related to a wide variety of topics affecting medical devices. In 2013, IMDRF formed the Software as a Medical Device Working Group (WG) to develop guidance supporting innovation and timely access to safe and effective Software as a Medical Device globally. Chaired by the FDA, the Software as a Medical Device WG agreed upon the key definitions for Software as a Medical Device, framework for risk categorization for Software as a Medical Device, the Quality Management System for Software as a Medical Device, and the clinical evaluation of Software as a Medical Device.
