HyI have an xbox360 console 4 gb memory ,with wifi , its 1 months old ,i just bought it . I bought need for speed most wanted 2012 ,I played it a few times ,but autosave is not working at all . I've beaten 2 of the most wanted cars alfa romeo ,and shelby cobra . And it did this flashing(autosave icon) so i thought it does saves the game ,but no. I got out to xbox home menu and back again ,and i had the same parameters (beaten cars )like before, but when i turn of the console ,the game starts from the beginning, and shows no beaten most wanted cars ,i have to do it again ,and again. my points stay the same before i quitted the game ,and my position on the most wanted list stays ,but its not saving my cars ive earned and beaten. Why is that? I have 2 Gb free space . I tried it to delete memory card ,and started the whole thing again ,but didnt worked. It never saves the most wanted cars i've earned ,and beaten. Please help. Thank you!
It starts with intro and the most wanted cars which i beat in race ,and after that i shut them down to own their cars ,it disapears ,after turning off my console. Like it never happened. I try to do, like you told me to do, and we1ll see. Thank you very much !
So i tried it with a formated(formated with xbox360) pendrive 4 GB ,i started the game ,the game asked me where do i want to save the game ,i chosed my pendrive ,i beated the most wanted car 10 (alfa romeo) and after that i crushed his car and owned it ,i waited after that till it was shoving the save icon . I left the game and i turned of my console . Started again the console. Started the game as well ,it asked me again where do i want to save the game (that was strange) at that point i knew it didnt saved a thing again, and so it was ,the game started all over from the beginning . Starts to be anoying .Please if you can help me ,it would be good ,starting to be disapointed. Thank you.
I thought changing save device would help ,but I guess It is not ? There my knowledge of what can go wrong ends > there are some gamesaving problems like yours reported on PS3&PC and I've experienced some regresion in gameprogress (I've lost some singleplayer mileage , achivements and 1 MW car ) but dont recolect that anyone reported that It cannot save game on XBOX at all .
in rply to "Started the game as well ,it asked me again where do i want to save the game (that was strange) at that point..." > game always asks you after PRESS START to choose save/load device (if you got more than 1 storage device (internal,USB,Cloud) enabled) > it doesn't matter if save exist or not @ that device > if exist then it is loaded if not it is created/saved .
It also happens with the PC version. I've watched the damn tutorial like 5 times already, played until I raced against the alpha romeo and now I have to do everything again. I've set permissions of the relevant folders to "everyone full control" with no success. I turned on and off the cloud storage with no success. Conclusion: the game is broken, as a game like this with no ability to save is the same as having a couple of gb of complete garbage. Maybe that' sthe reason for the game being at the "on the house" section?
i am super pissed! all day autolog servers were down so i kept trying to sign out and sign in and i went into the game and i had to do the Welcome to Fairhaven mission that you had to do in the beginning of the game. after i finished all that bull**bleep**, i didnt have any jackspots (finished all of them) any billboards(almost done) any speed cameras(all were done) any cars(had all of them) ! i have nothing! i still have all my cars in multiplayer and mods but i dont have anything in singleplayer! all that took me forever! and i dont want to startover again! over 3 million speed points and no cars? what is this bull**bleep**!
This happened to me on day one of having the game.
The only thing I can suggest is that you quit the game from time to time and make a back up of your save on an external device. This way if it happens again, you will at least not loose all of your cars.
Just had #1 happen to me today. I turned right at one intersection, but for some reason Strava thought I turned left and had me going almost 1/2 mile the wrong way before it caught up and realized where I really was, so it thinks my max speed -- biking -- was 122 miles an hour.
I don't really use Strava for routes, but today I tried to save a route I took, and share it with others.
But I left from my house and I want it to only pick up where the trail starts.
There's no way to trim off that piece unless I go into my Strava post, and trim the ride itself which I don't want to do.
This idea of saving routes, and sharing is pretty broken if you can't edit the data.
I won't be trying again until this is fixed
When you are creating a route from an activity, you actually can edit the route and trim off parts at the start and end. It is a little tedious, but it seems to work. Once you click "save route" from the menu in your activity, the next page should show the route creator page. If you zoom into the start of your activity, you should see the green dot for the start (finish flag would denote the end). You can click on the green dot and drag it along the route to where you actually want the "route" to start. It will edit the route information to remove that portion. You may have to do this with the end of the ride too if you finished at home and don't want that portion included either.
As an example, I track an indoor cycling on my Garmin watch which doesn't connect to the bike to get the distance, watts, speed, etc. Garmin allows me to enter these details on the phone app. However the additional information is not synched back to Strava, and I can't add the distance either. If I want to track these details I have to create a second activity and it just messes all the stats.
1) I understand the frustration there. My GPS tracks often get messed up when I'm open water swimming, due to the watch being underwater. For above-water activities, GPS is quite good these days, and if you're ending up with GPS glitches it's probably a device issue rather than strava issue.
Of course I understand your desire to fix the GPS track after the fact, if it does get messed up. I'm slightly doubtful that this would become a feature, because strava depends on the integrity of GPS data. Technically they could definitely create such a tool. It could function the same way as the route builder: you point and click to create a GPS track, but in this case it gets saved as an actual activity rather than a route. If they were to add such a feature, I think they would need to exclude those activities from all segments and achievements to be fair.
There is a 3rd party tool that allows you to do this: _Timestamps_To_GPX.php I haven't ever used this particular tool (I've used one of their other tools to combine two files into one activity), and it does look like it is a fairly intensive process to recreate a GPS track.
2) I hate when I forget to unpause! In one sense, this is similar to the above answer. I don't think strava will let us simply "fix" the missing portion of the GPS track, again because that messes with the data integrity for segments. You could potentially use the above 3rd party tool to fix something like this. I think that would be ethical, so long as you were simply filling in a gap that did not put you on a top 10 segment list. If you're willing to omit the "straight line" portion of your activity and just want to clean up your map, you could split the activity into two parts, and crop out the line. If you frequently forget to unpause a ride, you might consider using the autopause feature if your device has one.

Do we also have the option to customize the location, size, and colors on captions for separate videos? Some videos need bottom captions, some others need top captions depending on how the content is displayed.
@traciebosket the caption appearance is controlled on the viewer's end, which means they are free to change it anyhow they want in a video. If the content is displayed in a way that captions should be positioned on the top, then the viewers can make that switch easily.
I love the Find & Replace feature's way it filters the lines of text to only show those lines which contain the word or phrase. That's a game-changer for me. I like the case-sensitive capability, too. The Insert Line is also a great tool to have, and I can see myself using it.
Users would benefit from being able to edit the text where the text is located in the transcript itself rather than having the text editor open on the opposite side of the screen. This minor issue could add substantial time to the editing process. This may seem like a small thing, but the back-and-forth and back-and-forth will add up. I've done several hundred hours (maybe in the thousands now) of CC, and I can see that getting to me.
