Hello,
under Tools -> Options: OOo Writer - Mail Merge E-Mail one can specify
settings for outgoing E-Mail like SMTP server, login, pwd, etc.
So obviously it is possibly to send emails directly within OOo, right?

Wouldn't it then be possibly to use this functionality also for the
EMail Backup?

Thanks
Richard

Hello Dmitri,
thanks for your reply.

I really would appreciate it this way, because not everyone has setup
an email client. Also imagine using OOo portable on a public pc or at
a friends place...
On the other hand when using the email client, always the default
account is used, which may not be the right one. And of course it is
annoying always to confirm the email in the pop-up dialog of the email
client. :-/

Kind regards,
Richard
