random capital letters in writemonkey on a lenovo x301 laptop

Hi guys, 

I am a big fan of writemonkey, and use it exclusively on my lenovo laptop to write.  I recently noticed this problem, not sure what caused it but basically the letter I randomly shows up as a capital letter when it should not be.  I will be typing a word and writemonkey will display something lIke thIs.  It doesn't happen with every letter, mostly with 'I' but it only happens in writemonkey.  I scanned the forums and saw a post with someone who had a similar problem, but haven't been able to find a solution.  If anyone has some insights on this, I would be so grateful.  I love this application and would love to continue using it.

Hi, I noticed this too on my computer. I think for me it's the letter G. I'm also on a Lenovo btw.

Interesting, I wonder if it is some lenovo glitch? I looked at another thread and it said something about a lenovo hotkey process.  I can't seem to find the process though.  What's weird is that it never happened before, and all of a sudden started showing up.  I notice it seems to happen across a few letters, I, D and A. 

If anyone has a clue what's happening, please do chime in :) thanks!

My Y50 seems to capitalize letters at the end of words in WM. Quite annoying.

I'm on an X230, and it randomly capitalized Hs in WriteMonkey. What seems to fix it is disabling the "Lenovo Hotkey Client Loader" service in msconfig.exe, and also stopping... I've forgotten what exactly it's called. It has the words Thinkpad and Hotkey in its name, and the executable is in C:\Program Files\Lenovo\HOTKEY\
