WriteMonkey does not start

I download, copy the entire folder to the desktop, click the exe and nothing happens. Anyone else have this problem?

Perhaps there needs to be more info. I run as administrator, the screen flashes. But there is no program, as if nothing is running. I am running it on windows 7 also.

If you open your writemonkey directory on your desktop - do you also see folders: dictionaries, plugins, templates ...

It seems ok. Dictionaries and sound should have contents.

I tried earlier versions of WM, the earliest infact (0800) works fine. I downloaded some earlier versions and I get the same thing. When I got to 2000 I got the error message that I have attached. Is it Microsoft Net problem?

Can't say, to little info. Is .NET framework 4.0 installed on your computer? If you have 4.5, try installing 4.0.

Just came back to WM, downloaded it, put it on my zip drive and it worked fine. No additional work. What a wondrous piece of programming, art really. Donated and very happy.
