No sound effects at all

Hello!

I just installed Writemonkey, changed some preferences and started working, but there aren't any sound effect (they are enabled in Preferences). Win 8.1, speakers - OK.

I really don't have enough info to help you with that one. Problems with sound are uncommon, but has been reported in the past. Wm uses third party component for playing sounds which, as it seems, won't work in some rare circumstances. I haven't encountered those circumstances yet myself.

Hey :) Just make sure that installation path doesn't contain other symbols except English (don't use symbols like Russian or Chinese in path) and it will work! I had the same problem, but I moved the software from the folder with Russian title into the path without Russian letters in it, and sounds works perfect now. Come on, try it! :)
