As half year Android smartphone user, who needs to write often, I
tested all android apps for taking notes, text editors, etc. NONE of
them is fully functional, and I just can't find how come it's so
difficult to make such app.

To my suprise and joy, today I found WriteMonkey on Google Play (ex
Android Market)!!

I searched for it few times, because I consider WriteMonkey best text
editor on PC, and I was dissapointed theres no Android version.

Unfortunatelly polish app studio, AZAC took Your brand name and made
poor looking and hardly usable text editor
:(

How it happend?

It happened without my knowledge. I sent an email, no replay. And wm site has just been hacked. It seems. As I have the time to deal with this s**t right now. I wouldn't be surprised if those two things are related.
FK you or FK you both :)

This is unacceptable.  None of my people Android users outside of my mother's Nook.  She only uses the copies of WM I personally install on her netbook, too.  So, at least, none of my people are affected or helping to spread the problem.  Still, it seems insane for someone to attack you like this.  Bet that Android app is malware to boot ...

Here's the one star review (sadly one cannot leave a zero star reveiw) of the app on Google Play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.azacsoftware.writemonkey&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5hemFjc29mdHdhcmUud3JpdGVtb25rZXkiXQ..

"Do not be decieved . This app has stolen its name from the long standing and fantastic text-editor for PC called WriteMonkey and is not in any way associated with the real WriteMonkey, reviews of which you can find online going back several years.

Today, the same day this Android app was released the true writemonkey.com site has been hacked making it impossible to download the new and final release from there. Is it pure coincidence? One has to doubt it.

This  Android fake "write monkey" is not a scratch on the true WriteMonkey product.

You can find out about the real WriteMonkey here https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/writemonkey while the creator of the program and owner of the name and the website deal with having been hacked."

A formal complaint should be made to Google Play. I will be doing that right away.

I'm also speading the word via my socal networks.
