Hello

I'm still discovering WM features, and plan to donate soon.

I understand we can add comments using //
Though this has to be started on a new line.

I'm wondering is there's a feature that has inline comments (so it doesn't break up the text)?
And also, the comment can be linked to contents of a repository or something equivalent. At the moment, as I understand, the repository is collection of text snippets. Though it's hard to track back to where say a particular snippet relates to the main body text. Unless one does this manually with some kind of numbering/ref system, though it can get difficult to track if you have many snippets.

Would the corkboard work for this kind for this kind of feature

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

One of the downsides (if it is one for you) of a lightweight processor like WM is getting rid of things like inline comments. I like the comments feature since it doesn't add to the word count, and I can see the comments in the Jumps and address them there.

Not sure of a direct link, but what I do to keep track of where things fall between Repository and the main text is to use similar headings for both sections. So for example:

In my main text:

# 1st Main Point

In Repository:

# 1st Main Point
// Comment

And any text/other research I dump into the repository I can easily reference for the main text.

That being said, if  you want thing on-screen for reference, then yeah, my recommendation would be the corkboards.
