Hi Wrens,

I see in today’s Valley News the obituary for Gerry Jones, husband of our former Wren, Emily Jones. Looks like he passed away in mid February. I only knew him peripherally from our rehearsals at their home. But even then, I could tell he was “a character.”

Oh my!  Obviously I didn’t know and am so sorry to hear. I drive by their home frequently and did not see anything that would indicate…  I am fond of the memory of helping Emily shovel their incredibly long stretch of adjacent sidewalk one winter night. We wee connected because she was a Miss Porter’s alum.  Dear couple!
