Hello!
I've been using wren for a long while now in the context of a game engine.
I recently posted the announcement and reasoning behind the choice, 

you can view the dev log post here!

I've also been speaking with Bob directly here and there to make sure he was ready for us, 
and we have several contributions in the form of simple modules and optional modules like regex that we'll post soon.
We've also implemented a fully networked debugger for the VM, which we'll upstreaming as well.
There's improvements to wrenalyzer and other things - basically a whole lot to come from this. 
The post has a few videos showing the debugger, and the dev logs have some more details about the current iteration of the engine in general.

I'd also like to mention a special thanks to Michel Hermier from the wren group who helped me clarify several things things earlier on.

I look forward to contributing further to wren and working with Bob on making wren even better!

Do you have some code in wren somewhere for luxe? I mean since it is a real use case, it might be interesting to see/share your effort, so one could contribute to your missed features.

Yes we're working on upstreaming the new codebase but it's not on the github just yet.
It will be though as before with the alpha, just busy sorting out some loose ends!

Are you sure this will not cause a division in your comunity? and probably a fracture in your project, doing such a late change?
I mean maybe you should have 2 *separated* project, like luxe and wrenLuxe (or what ever the new name)

The alpha codebase was a placeholder for the design of the engine to become clearer to me. 
The community is there for the engine (not that language it is made in), like it's workflow and design and philosophy.
The engine is progressing as intended, and has been all along, I've been detailing this on the dev logs for a long time. 
Nobody is (or should be) too surprised by this direction.
The bottom of the post has an image conveying the approach, design by exploring, now we are finalizing the design into a longer standing implementation.

This is so awesome, and is exactly the kind of project where I hoped Wren would be a good fit. Congrats, Sven!

For interest sake the updated version of the engine + information is now public facing.

The website at https://luxeengine.com talks about the engine :)
