Merging Compustat Database with BoardEX

Greetings for you all,
I hope this email finds you well. I am currently seeking to merge the Compustat database with BoardEX. In Compustat, the unique identifier is GVKEY. However, I do not have the same identifier available in the BoardEX dataset. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or clarification on how to proceed with this merging process.
