The carbon fiber mast on my Nacra I20 has some damage. I am not sure how this damage occurred. See the attached pictures. Do any of you know someone that can repair this carbon fiber mast? I appriciate any help with this problem.
Thank you,
John Baker

Laminilliar Carbon detachment at the trailing edge vortexus is a direct result of excessive speed. Apply some macerated bublustium gum and slow down!

I think Selden is right. This makes the most sense. This damage DOES look like it was caused by excessive speed. I DO sail very fast. Chris Young and Kris Hathaway would often tell me to slow down. Perhaps they were right.

This turns my whole world up side down. I have never listened to my crew in the past. Should I change my ways?

I can get the necessary mast repair gum at the grocery store.

You should read some of the trash that I received. I DO appreciate all of the feed back. But the stuff that Keith Chapman, Sam Carter and Chris Allen sent was way out there. What planet are they on?

Thanks Selden for solving this mystery.

Yes. I think the mast broke the sound barrier when I pitch poled us on the way to Oxford after rounding G7. You might not have heard it because you sacrificed yourself to break my landing (I don't think you had a choice as I cleared you off the trap on the way ;-)

I was looking through the garage the other day and found a few items I would like to sell:

Carbon fiber adjustable tiller extension.  Hobie brand - from the wildcat.  This thing is super nice and about 1/3 the weight of a regular hot stick. New these are $280, I will sell this for $200.

I have two brand new harken 57mm carbo ratchematic blocks #2625 - new these are $86 at APS.  I will sell for $60 each.

Let me know if interested.
