Hi JT,

What I see is a creature who is larger than life. While possessing impressive strength and the capability of causing tremendous damage, there is also a cool calm controlled calculating kindness in his demeanor. Wisdom can be found in his eyes. The whisker are grey, but there is a youthful playfulness in his antics. He is attractive enough to be a Sears catalog model, but he is too modest to pursue that career path. It is unknown if he works out in the gym or that perfect muscle tone comes from daily routine task.

Few will cower in fear. Most gaze with admiration.

I can see how you would look at this work of art and think of me.

Finally went sailing during the week like you guys! Wind was mid teens!

No, it wasn’t Prawn. It was a Windsurfer LT! We should have a fleet of these at the club. Simple, easy to set up and extremely comfortable to sail. Its straight out of the 80’s.

We both sailed after donating. I was ok (platelets) but Fan felt bad, almost passed out while planing on slalom, and had to stop.

Good top speed!  What was the wind speed?

Did Fan feel bad because she was finished donating before you?  Great empathy!  I was told by a donation attendant (nurse?) once that beer would replenish blood the fastest after a donation…..I don’t think she was a real nurse, but I figured, what’s the worse that could happen?  I think it worked…..

Wind was mid to high teens. I was using a 7.2 sail on the LT. It has no footstraps and a padded deck. It looks like the original windsurfer.

Fan went faster! She did 20.4 knots. Only sailed 1.5 miles though before almost passing out and almost feeding her breakfast to the fish. In that short time 20.4. nice. She says she underestimated the effect of one pint.

In my experience alcohol works better after donating, maybe thats what the nurse meant…
