James Daleo

Members and friends,
At the May meeting it was mentioned that James Daleo had passed. Just wanted to let everyone know that wasn’t in attendance.

Jim Daleo was one of the of the earliest members of the WRAM. He joined in 1956 and was an active member for over 50 years. He served on the nominating committee, was an active participant and eventually voted to Emeritus status. The history of the WRAM on our website has several quotes from many of the early members, and a few from Jim. He would always respond to his name when called during meeting roll call
“Daleo........ hoooo”. He will be missed.

Thanks for those words, Mark. Jim D was a true gentleman and always wonderful company when I would talk with him at the field or at meetings and the show. I understand from Tony that you will be sending a condolence card to the family. Thank you for that. And thank you again for your remembrance of such a great and important WRAM member.
