Dear wradlib users,

you might already have noticed that the openradar community is joining
efforts in combining and merging the different documentation and help
resources.

Currently wradlib has this very mailing list. Py-ART has a mailing list
too and is also using github discussions intensively. Other packages
just rely on issues within their respective repositories.

Discourse (https://www.discourse.org/) seemed like a natural choice as
many open source communities (eg. pangeo https://discourse.pangeo.io/)
use it as a central point for discussion and help.

The openradar community applied for a free tier and we now have

https://openradar.discourse.group/

up and running. Thanks to the discourse team, but now we need to fill it
with some discussion.

This mailing list has served well over the years but I encourage you to
assign with the openradar discourse and ask your questions there. That
way the openradar community can profit from questions and answers of
different users and developers around the globe in a central space. And
it has really amazing features: https://www.discourse.org/features. Did
I mention it is open source?

I'm really looking forward to the first question. What it might be about?

Best,
Kai
