I have been using wradlib for three years now and I absolutely love it! Thanks to the creators for creating such a cool and useful utility for us Radar Meteorology novices.
Anyways, even though there are multiple utilities available in wradlib and the library is just expanding over the time with addition of new functionalities, I always missed the utility for radial velocity processing! Mostly Velocity De-aliasing,VAD, and VVP!
I have written a code for Velocity De-aliasing using python which is based on Zhang et al. 2006, which is a 2D multi-pass based iterative approach. If the developers don't mind, can I send it to you for review, so that may be in future we can add such utility, or atleast a recipe! Please let me know your thoughts!
Thanks and regards,
Sambit
