Hi all,
I need help with wardlib installation on Windows 10. I have installed wradlib using conda and all the dependencies seems to be up to date but I get ImportError when importing wradlib. Any idea how to proceed? Traceback is below:
Thanks and all the best for the new year,
Martin

Hi Martin,

you are probably on an old version of wradlib. Can you check, that you
are on the latest version (1.13.0)?

Best,
Kai

You are right, I was on wradlib version 1.8.0. Updating solved the problem.
Thanks a lot,
Martin

Hi Martin,

I also faced the same problem once, however, I was on Mac. I was able to import wradlib in terminal based python but not in jupyter.
I tried hard to solve this issue, but I failed. The quick possible solution is to uninstall the anaconda and install it again. However, you can also try to create an another environment with latest python version and install everything again using conda.

Best regards,
Syed

Hi Kai,
just one note to the installation guide https://docs.wradlib.org/en/stable/installation.html:
step5 "(wradlib) $ conda install wradlib" did not install the latest version in my case but the version 1.8.0 which caused the problem. Maybe adding there recommendation to check for update after installation could help also others. Either as step 6 or somewhere else.
Best Regards,
Martin

Hi Martin, all,

a PullRequest adding this information is very welcome. This is the
location where it should be applied:

https://github.com/wradlib/wradlib-docs/blob/main/source/installation.rst

Best,
Kai
