How should I run additional daemods (ex. Redis)

A lot of components bundled with wpn-xm but only a few of them can be started by one button, and how about other components?

Hello Bronner,

yes, i have added some more software packages to the installer.

Not all of them have control buttons in the server control panel or a status display in the webinterface, yet.

I consider this being a feature request opened a new ticket for it: https://github.com/WPN-XM/WPN-XM/issues/423

Regarding "Redis": 

for now the redis server just installed into the "x:\server\bin\redis" folder.

With the next minor release i will switch to the releases from MSOpenTech (https://github.com/MSOpenTech/redis). 

Mainly because they provide a later version of Redis and a configuration file.

After that, i will have to work on the out of the box configuration (or someone provides it), so that the component may be started out of the box.

Thank you! Glad to hear it, of course Redis is just an example. But It might be weighty argument for people to start with WPN-XM.
