Localize strings

i've read the issue about string localization.

Can anyone help me to compile from sources with localized strings ?

There is currently a development version where localization is possible
in trunk. Note though that this is a development version and might not
work as expected and also change in the future. But it would be really
helpful to get some testing feedback on it how it works.

You can build it following instructions on
<https://code.google.com/p/wpkg-gp/wiki/DevelopmentGuide> whereas code
you can checkout with this instructions
<https://code.google.com/p/wpkg-gp/source/checkout>

After that there is a wpkg-gp.pot file you can open with e.g. Poedit
<http://poedit.net/> and translate it. When you save it poedit should
store a fr.mo file (for french)

Copy this file to the Windows machine you have installed the new
compiled Wpkg-GP to Program Files\Wpkg-GP\locale\LC_MESSAGES\fr\wpkg-gp.mo.

If the Windows machine has a french locale it should then use this
translation.

Let me know whether this works on your test machine.

Hi

I can translate for Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and maybe Italian (but maybe someone else will need to check my translation on Spanish and Italian later).

I have some WinXP and Win7 VM where I can test this (and I´d love to do this!).

Can you provide a compiled version of this trunk ?
