Hi,

I have deployed about 90+ Windows 7 clients with Wpkg 0.17.
Recently, I noticed Wpkg install check is skipped during startup, which mean "Wpkg is checking" doesn't appear on the screen.

How do I force wpkg-GP to load on every boot?
Or how does it run if there are condition changes on server 's package/profile?

If I run cmd to Wpkg sync it will work fine, but rebooting seems trigger wpkg-gp to run randomly.

Any feedback/questions are appreciated!

Syd

You need to configure "Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon" in a GPO (needs at least one reboot to take effect) or in the local Group Policy editor (gpedit.msc). You are probably seeing it not apply sometimes because of this race condition:

...so you could try increasing the timeout, as described in the resolution.

Thanks, I just applied on the change under GP.
Hopefully, this will fix the issue.

Yes, it's running WPKG on every startup now.
