I wanted to put several pins on the map with labels for scenic location and points of interest but the software defaults to the nearest address so for instance if I wanted to put a marker in the ocean marking the Stellwagen Bank whale refuge it will mark it somewhere on the coast at a known address. (its 25 miles off shore)
This is huge for me and I do travel pieces so I need to be able to customize my routes to travel dirt roads and paths and to mark locations that don't have addresses...  Matt is this something that will have to wait until a major revision or will it happen sooner?

I think this is a problem with Google Maps, not GMappity. When you use a random lng/lat it tries to find an address for it.

May be, since I signed out of Google maps and then went to salem and then double clicked on the water then I click what is nearby it says that location is not supported and the map moved to land 413 Hale street in Beverly... Well I know there is no way to ask Google anything since they refuse to talk to any of us.. (we're not good enough even with out us they be out of work)...

So Maybe Matt is off the hook... But I did notice that when making a map under my maps Google lets me drop a pin anywhere and it stays there. This is the only functionality that I require.. So maybe Matt could see if that feature could be brought in from the My Maps program.
