One of the posters and I cant seem to find their post at the moment was
suggesting different durations between manditory road tests depending on
age.

Although I might tend to agree with that our constitution does not allow us
to discriminated based on age so that was why my suggestion was manditory
retests every 3 years for everyone.

If you fail your retest you get manditory driver education not necessarily
a suspended lic.

And for most people posting on here instead of worrying whether you can
drive or not when you get older maybe you should be more concerned with the
safety of everyone on the road.

I've always said that Winnipeg needs a 3 strike rule for its drivers...
three moving violations in a 2 year period = mandatory suspension until
successful completion of written and road tests. Of course, if police
started ticketing for not using turn signals (failure to yield, improper
lane change), there wouldn't be anyone left driving....
