www.92citi.com comes up with a blank page.
I think we'll see 92 get some big numbers soon (based on talent and play
lists).
I very much enjoyed the classic rock program this morning from 9-12. Some
great tunes.
Warms my heart to tune in randomly and hear a good Pink Floyd tune.

From what I remember reading in the paper he gave his two weeks just
after his co-host was busted. Upon finishing his shift he was
escorted out of Power97 by security.
Probably had to do with the fact that he and Dick Rivers could not
stand being in the same building as each other.
The Sun ran the article on Tuesday, July 17th 2001 and the reporter
was Pat St. Germain.
William
BJ and Hal own the Winnipeg morning waves...I pity the fools that listen
to the morons on citi...tom and joe just plain suck. period.

much cooler"?? lol...cosmo is brutal. he's so *NOT* funny...he'll fit
in just right with the citi herd.

Wow, I am out of touch. What was he arrested for?

Staff Reporter FOUR people charged in the city's biggest ecstasy drug
seizure including a Winnipeg radio personality made their first court
appearances yesterday.
Lawyers for the accused requested a three-week adjournment so the
Crown can turn over evidence gathered by police. They will next appear
in court Aug. 8.
Undercover vice officers found almost 2,400 pills with a street value
of $60,000 during a raid late last month at a Country Club Boulevard
home.
Police say it's another sign that use of the drug, which began as a
favourite at all-night dance parties known as raves but has since
moved into the mainstream, is expanding in the city.
Joanne Cochrane, 29, a radio personality on Power 97 FM, was arrested,
along with Tyler McLeod, 28, Sean Wilson, 22, and Gordon Russell, 45.
Police say Cochrane and McLeod were residents of the home.
Defence lawyer Hymie Weinstein appeared in court yesterday on behalf
of Cochrane.
During the search, police also found a dozen marijuana plants and
three grams of cocaine. Officers seized $28,000 in cash and a 1989
Chevrolet pickup truck believed to be used in the drug operation.
Road repairs get $2 million
THE province allocated $2 million yesterday to repair damage from
spring rains and flooding on provincial Highways 5 and 23.
Transportation Minister Steve Ashton announced yesterday 11 kilometres
of the highways near Baldur and Belmont, about 60 km southeast of
Brandon will be repaired.
Overland flooding last fall and high soil moisture levels this spring
contributed to more damage than usual from wet weather.
The repairs are scheduled to begin immediately and if weather
co-operates, will be completed in October.
Mining projects get $1.4M
ALMOST $1.4 million was allocated yesterday to explore new mining
projects in the province.
Mines Minister MaryAnn Mihychuk announced the funding as part of the
Mineral Exploration Assistance Program which provides up to 35 per
cent of project expenditures for non-fuel mineral exploration.
Forty-three companies were given funding this summer, in grants
ranging from $3,078 to $151,774.
