We've had work done at Clear Collision on Berry St. Absolutely the
best as far as my experience goes. They matched paint 100%, you can't
tell the vehicle was damaged. And this is a 1967 Chrysler, so I'm sure
that mixing paint according to code would have resulted in a glaring
difference, as paint deteriorates over time. Body work and prep was
exceptional. They even went as far as touching up stone chips and
doing an interior cleaning.
My brother took his Ford van there, and was also impressed. Again, you
can't tell where the repair was done.
Although both of these vehicles were MPI claims, my brother's van had
rust that needed to be cut out & replaced with good steel. This was
not covered by MPI. I don't recall the exact price Clear charged him,
but it was somewhere around $300 cheaper than the next lowest
estimate.
Although they've done tons of work on custom cars, pics of one of the
tuner cars they worked on can be found at
http://autoclubs.ca/gallery/2006/June_24_2006b/target0.html. That pic,
and the following three. They also did this classic:

After my car was broken into, I took it to them. They had my car for almost
a week when they said three days. I paid for my own 'free' rental in the
end. The door they fixed now produces wind noise and has started squeaking.
The window they replaced has to be pushed down about an inch when opened or
it rattles. The tint they put on the glass is a yellow-greenish but the
original was bue-greyish -- this after they were told to match or not
replace because all the damage was two small nicks on the edge of the glass.
The interior panel they replaced was scratched when they were installing it
and they offered to paint it over with vinyl paint. The centre console top
had a small tear in it so they replaced with a used one that was darker,
dirty, and had spilled coke and crap in the cup holder. When the car is warm
it stinks of old cigarette smoke. They promised they'd touch up some light
rust and chips. They didn't. And the car had scratch marks on the hood that
looked like someone had scooted across it wearing jeans with rivets. They
insisted that it was normal and there before. It wasn't. I know my car.
They have this TV ad that purrs on about "family" or "down come cooking" or
some other such shit. Unless you come from a family of losers, crooks and
drifters, you won't feel at home here. :-)
