Hello all,

I think we should start looking at dates and talking about plans for an upcoming session. Most of my next week and weekend are pretty packed, but I could do something tomorrow or Monday, if that works. If not, I'm essentially out until Monday the 18th.

Al's just sent an email saying he can't make it until 8:30 or so. We haven't heard from Tom yet either. I'm up for it tonight but it might just be a case of poor timing for tonight. That said, I'll still happily game, it'll just be a short one. Might be better to wait till tomorrow?

Well, being that it's now 9:45pm I guess we're not playing tonight. I'm for playing tomorrow with or without Tom. If Tom's not available we can just play a board game. Can we play at your place PJ? If not we can play here or wherever. Did you have a possible start time Brian? Can you make it?

Guys, I have thought about this and I think this might be the way to proceed for Monday.  This assumes Tom's not back by now which I think likely.  Since I've got the time constraints in my neighbourhood it makes sense for you to meet at my apartment.  If I check out the new apartments (two in one building) at 5.30 I should be done by 6.30.  My mother's house is around the corner and I will have a quick supper there (and take out her blue box and garbage).    The fourplex is at 115 Crawford Ave, entrance facing Highfield (Nelson MacIntyre Collegiate school grounds), PJ has seen the building once, parking on Highfield or Crawford Ave.  Starting 7.30 at latest.  You'll have to forgive the rather boxed up state of the place.  I have some plain soda, diet ginger ale, teas and a few snacks (lots of pickled veg though), and more can be had from the nearby Video Cellar including popcorn, or the Seven Eleven, or the Robin's, all more or less the same distance away.  I also have coupons for Chicken Chef. Here's what I think is happening tonight:

A - PJ, Mark, Al, Brian and Tom are playing GURPS

B - at Brian's place, 115 Crawford Ave.

C - starting at 19:00 - 19:30

D - PJ, Mark, Al, and Tom should bring snacks if they want them

E - ordering dinner together is an option

F - end time is to be the usual, circa 23:00

Please confirm or deny the accuracy of my summary.

Hookay, here's what I think.   My place would have been good for a board type game but for GURPS it's kind of a problem: the kitchen table is too small to fit five people comfortably, particularly when one of them needs a screen.   I therefore suggest we meet at Tom's place as usual.  Since I might be later than the rest of you, even by a bit, I suggest you start without me --my character will have slept late after being shagged out from spellcraft and will catch up with you if need be.

Well, then, it appears that:

1)We are gaming tonight. (PJ suggests 19:30 as a start time. Nifty!)

2) Site-dependent decisions need to be made. 

IF(Brian's=place) 

THEN(Board=game)

BUT IF(Tom's=place)

THEN(GURPS=game)

Alternately, 

IF(game=GURPS)

THEN(place=Tom's)

BUT IF(game=Board)

THEN(place=x)

We, gentlemen can either go for IF/THEN #A or IF/THEN #B and solve for x.
