Hello gents. As it turns out I will be in the whiteshell tonight and I have a board meeting on tues. eve. I think I'm available on wed. If you want to meet without me thats OK too. The next available time would be on the weekend.

I'm busy Friday through Sunday; I can do Wed or Thurs but prefer Wednesday.

Hi guys
I delayed answering as I was not sure if I could make any day this week owing to a very nasty flu bug that hit me quite hard Saturday, such that by the time I'd done my mum's shopping, I had to rest in my old bed and ended up pretty much not moving from it for some 12 hours after resurfacing for a bowl of soup and such. Even as late as last night I felt a bit sick. But I think I'm well enough today to say that tomorrow evening will not be a problem. Alas, my taxes will be sent in late. But hey, it looks like they owe me just under 6K, so I don't think they'll mind. Hopefully the figure I arrived at Friday night was not merely an early symptom of fever...

PS Should we consider giving our characters a group/gang name? Or is naming things that dangerous? How about... (thinking of a way to make this quasi medieval--has anyone read Neil Gaiman's Marvel 1602?)

Not as crazy as it sounds. A brother and sister, two of them don't get along at all, one of them's earthy (sorry, Tom). One's really smart. OK, it doesn't quite work perfectly

Gentlemen,
First off, I apologize for my delayed response. My computer kept asking for my gmail password (it forgets it from time to time) and I got sick of entering it over and over, so I hit cancel. I just realized today that I've missed a few days worth of emails as a result.
Unfortunately, tonight doesn't work for me, in fact the entire week has been a wash in terms of free time. We have some linguists visiting from Iceland doing research here, and I've been seconded to them since Monday. It's been much more than I expected, and so I'm swamped. Perhaps we can find some time next week for another session? You are all welcome to play without me as well, if that works.

Well, if everyone else's heart was set on meeting, we could play --something, I guess. If not GURPS, then what? If GURPS, what happened to Miss K? Is she feeling poorly (the vapours? an air-borne pathogen that doesn't affect the rest of us? or maybe the same 24-hour flu that knocked me out earlier this week?) Or maybe you're all doubly deflated by the snow anyway and are just happy we played last week and can wait another? I'm easy either way. How does everyone feel?

I'm still good for tonight (I may be home as early as 6!). If we want to play
something else, my selection is limited. One game is best with 5-6 people;
one game I want to save for a night when P.J.'s around, and then I've
got Settlers.

We had spoken in the past about playing every 10 days; so the next game night (counting from the last one) would be on Saturday. Could we do that?
