Hi,
I have a disconnected system running windows ce. I need to play
various media files on this device... What options do I have?
The only "real" option I saw thus far is to use CorePlayer api to
manage playback of media files...
What about hosting and running silverlight on the device? is this a
viable option? Can CE host the silverlight app and can the browser of
CE view silverlight?
Any other sugestions welcome...

Rudi,
Silverlight is not supported on CE..
Even if you had a version of SL for mobile (in private beta now iirc), at that point codecs are pretty optimized for mobile hardware so might not be as good experience as using the native CE player.. if that is not working lmk and I can ask CE folks for any other suggestions..
