Hey guys,

I am about to start a project using WPF and Windows 7. The PC will have 6 screens, I heard a rumour (which i could not believe) that Windows 7 touch will only work on one screen and not on the 6 of them. Is that true? anyone tried this before ?

It's true. Touch is limited to the primary display.

Time to invest in 5 more PCs and come up with a distributed solution!

It meant we had to redefine some planned UI interfaces for our route manager, but it didn't have too much of an effect on us. I would imagine that you would feel it more in something like a trading system.

Yeah though I don't know if we would trust them to just touch something right now, slowly slowly catchy monkey

Not with WPF I'm afraid. I believe that Flash supports it, so you might get some traction there.

I'm working on an app which uses six displays on Windows 7 and you can touch all of them, but it's a hack. We are using NVIDIA's mosiac software, which tricks Windows into thinking that all your displays are just one giant display. Then we have a custom-made IR touch bezel from PQ Labs mounted on top of the whole thing to provide touch sensing.
