7 p.m. at the Mennonite Meeting House
Only three more sessions, May 11 and 18, the last two in the
Eyes on the Prize series, and May 25, music from the Civil Rights
Movement.
We have been tremendously enriched by having Zoharah Simmons
with us to lead a discussion after the screening. Last night she
told us about her experience in Mississippi with the Student
Non Violent Coordinating Committee, registering voters in a
dangerous environment.
That ‘Mississippi Summer’ is featured on the May 11 episode.
