Mid-Month Report

The Mid-Month Growers Report provides up to date content designed to assist Local Food Producers with concerns related to backyard growing, community gardening or urban farming. Content will be added throughout the season
on multiple topics including pest and disease management concerns, varietal selection and planting times, weather updates and information about upcoming Extension events. The Mid-Month Growers Report will be sent out the third Thursday of each month during
the growing season.
This month's Growing
Franklin includes several articles including, Insect
Pest Scouting and How to Manage Pests specifically for
this time in the growing season, a free and open to the public Integrated
Pest Management Class at
the Gye Nyame Place
in Linden on Tuesday, June 26, and a Central
Ohio Summer 2018 Weather Update and El Nino Predictions for Winter which includes updates on weather patterns and temperatures. Additionally, OSU Extension, Franklin County will be hosting the
2018 Columbus Urban Farm Tour Series that highlights several local urban farms, click
