Dear comrades,
The Workers Party in America is pleased to announce
the successful implementation of our "WPA 2.0" project. WPA 2.0 was designed to
get the Party back on track following a series of mishaps and crises that
effectively shut us down for several months.
The core of the WPA 2.0 project was the restoration
of our publication, Working People's Advocate. We are pleased to say
that WPA is back in print and back on schedule as our weekly voice. Current
issues are available through the Party's website, www.workers-party.com.
In addition, the United Communist Press
Association, the media arm of the WPA, has launched a redesigned news and
information portal at a new address: www.ucpanews.com. As part of our effort to
better interact and communicate with our friends and supporters, we are also
inviting you to help contribute to the UCPA News website through the weblog we
have set up, UCPAToday. If you are
interested in blogging with us, drop a line to the Editor at edi...@ucpa.us. By November 6, the old site, www.ucpa.us, will be closed off to visitors as we
begin moving data from the old site to the new (at the moment, the new site only
has articles from the last two issues of WPA on it).
In the coming weeks, more announcements related to
the WPA 2.0 project will be released, including information about a new online
bulletin, Talking Points, and new releases from Currlin Press.
We always appreciate your comments and questions.
If you have any, please do not hesitate to write us at w...@workers-party.com.
Comradely,
Martin Sayles, Chairperson
Workers Party in America
