Job: Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor at Florida International University

The Writing and Rhetoric Program and Global First-Year Program at Florida International University in Miami, FL invite candidates for Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor positions in Writing and Rhetoric for AY 2025-2026. These 9-month, 1-year appointments carry a 4/4 face-to-face teaching load and offer a competitive salary and benefits. Job duties include teaching first-year composition courses and contributing service to the department. 

 

Candidates should hold an MA or PhD in Rhetoric and Composition or a closely related field and have a strong teaching record.
